The 5 best pints of Guinness in Dublin

1) Guinness Storehouse

Unfortunately you can’t just walk straight into the Storehouse and start drinking delicious pints of Guinness. It is well worth booking online to avoid the queues and we recommend you take your time and enjoy a full day out here. Alongside the tour and museum there is the Gravity Bar, the Connoisseur Bar, the 1837 Bar & Brasserie and, of course, Arthur’s Bar.

2) Mulligan's

Writers Seamus Heaney and James Joyce used to frequent Mulligan’s. This classic Dublin pub is so well-known for its Guinness that some have said it’s the ‘home of the pint’. That’s up for debate perhaps. Yet this is a fine establishment to drink a very fine pint indeed.

4) Grogan's

Situated right bang in the middle of the creative heart of Dublin, this is the go-to place when the sun comes out on a weekend. The crowds spill out and take over all the available seats and any nearby steps with pints propped up on any ledge or free surface. They also sell fantastic cheese toasties.

5) Kehoe's

Right bang in the heart of Dublin, just off Grafton Street, is this terrific-looking and extremely popular pub. Depending on the time of day or night, you may have to stand while drinking, inside or outside, but that’s a small sacrifice for the enjoyment of a great pint and the 110 KEHOE’S energetic atmosphere.
