5 places where you can learn about Canadian history in Toronto

1) Fort York

Fort York is a big site. They do daily re-enactments of military life in Toronto during the war of 1812. There’s a large gallery here where you can learn how Canadians defended themselves from the American invasion. Fort York also hosts an array of community events, so it’s about more than history.
