1) Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden

Opened in 1986, the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden is the first Chinese garden built outside of China with the goal being to ‘maintain and enhance the cross-cultural understanding’. Employing the philosophical principles of feng shui and Taoism, the plants were chosen according to their blossom schedule in order to emphasize the changing seasons, especially the ‘awakening spring’.
