1) La Casa Judía

This bright, joyful building, with its stylised art deco balconies and Egyptian-inspired columns, was built in 1930 by architect Francisco Guardiola for Yosef Shalóm. Spot the Star of David painted above the door; it’s here that the city’s Jewish community met secretly to celebrate Kabbalat Shabbat and other festivals.
