Named after the famous film with Marilyn Monroe this ballroom is a classic. It is located in the basement of a turn of the century house. And nothing could prepare you for the splendid sight that awaits you. The walls are lined with mirrors, red velvet seats with golden chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.

3) Azul Bar

This could have also been included on the list of hipster places. The bar of the 25hours Hotel Neubau near MuseumsQuartier is a top location. It’s open from 3 pm till 1 am and hosts plenty of different events including Swing ‘n’ Roll, Lindy Hop, Thirsty Thursday and many more. Very laidback.
5) Edison
This used to be a music shop but now it’s a cafe, a restaurant and a bar, on two floors. The name refers to a cafe Edison that opened here in 1922. The interior is quite cool, in a Scandi-kind of way. Famous for its cocktails.
