5 specialities to eat and drink in Antwerp
1) De Koninck
Antwerp’s distinctive dark ale is brewed in an old whitewashed brewery that was founded by the De Koninck family in 1833. The beer is served in a distinctive glass known as a bolleke. So you just need to order een bolleke in an Antwerp bar. A visitors’ centre offers tours and beer tastings in a converted industrial space. You also find several specialised local retailers in the complex selling meat, cheese and chocolates.
