3) Ahoy! Hostel
It hardly gets more central than this place, between the Old Town Square and Národní. Located in a 17th-century building, near famous monuments, with Prague’s wild nightlife right on the doorstep it ticks all the boxes for most young travellers.
4) Sir Toby's Hostel
Fifteen years ago, Mathias Schwender was inspired to open a hostel in this neighbourhood, long before it became hip and arty. The tourist hotspots are just a short tram ride away, but there are plenty of local hangouts to investigate nearby. Retro furnishings, a bar in the cellar and a garden for BBQs.
5) Post Hostel
Stylish modern accommodation in the heart of an elegant residential quarter, which makes it a very good deal, starting at €10 a night. The hostel shares a building with the post office (remember to send your postcards), has spacious light rooms with double-height ceilings and a game room.
