1) VEGA
VEGA is actually four venues, with capacities ranging from the 1550-person ‘Stor VEGA’ hall down to the cosy 250-person ‘Ideal Bar’ venue. Some of the biggest names to perform at VEGA include David Bowie, Prince, Moby, Norah Jones, and Foo Fighters.
2) Pumpehuset
With two separate halls for hosting live concerts, Pumpehuset (the pump house) is a repurposed, historic water supply facility from the 19th century. It is known as a place to see a louder, ‘harder’, and more diverse range of shows.

3) DR Koncerthuset
The DR Koncerthuset was designed by Pritzker-Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel and completed in 2009. It is now the home of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, and also hosts concerts of all genres.
4) Loppen
Loppen (the flea) is Freetown Christiania’s rawest, most energised live music venue. Featuring local, regional, and international acts, Loppen is an intimate, rustic, ‘no frills’ venue that specialises in alternative, punk, and other high-intensity shows.
5) Huset KBH Culture Centre
Huset KBH is such a cool place – a diverse, friendly venue existing for the sole purpose of putting on art, literature, cinema, and music events in the heart of the city, about 1500 per year. There is always something going on here, and when it comes to live music, Huset hosts all sorts: local and regional artists, tribute bands, jazz, rock, techno and everything in between.
