1) Sharing Friends

Ambitious contemporary architecture has been quite a contentious subject in Munich. In recent years, many new buildings emerged along the railway tracks that lead to the main station. These areas are largely characterised by architectural mediocrity. The residential apartment buildings by the architects Allmann Sattler Wappner, called ‘Sharing Friends’, are the exception to the rule. Many of the large, square windows transform into bay windows, creating two iconic towers.
