The 5 most beautiful cafes in Budapest

1) Centrál

A veritable Grand Café, from 1887. It was closed by the communists in 1949 and reopened in 2000. The cafe part is to the left, the restaurant is to the right, and the pool tables are upstairs. This was the favourite place of many writers, who came here to work because their homes weren’t properly lit or heated.
