1) Kádár Étkezde
The tiny place is about 60 years old and was named after Mr Kádár. He passed away a long time ago, so now someone else is running the show, but you can still taste the flavours of the 1970s here – mostly working class classics, plus cholent only on Saturday. You sit at communal tables, next to people you don’t know, which adds to the charm.
