5 cocktail bars you can't afford to miss in Milan
1) Nottingham Forest
Its bar counter crossed the ocean, where it previously stood in one of the bars of the Knickerbocker Hotel in New York, a cult place for bartenders. But this tiny place is also a cult place, where Dario Comini, a 21st-century alchemist, weaves his magic. This Italian venue for years has featured prominently on the World’s 50 Best Bars list. Enjoy!
2) Cinc Brera
Set in a former furniture store in the most evocative area of Milan, this place has a casual atmosphere. While it’s open from morning till night, it’s worth popping in at aperitif time, for drinks with olives and crisps. You’ll only appreciate the list of cocktails by Luca Pirola even more.

3) Rita
This bar, which is located near the iron bridge, has always gone against the flow, choosing to focus on quality in a very touristy area. The drinks menu will take you on a tour around the world, with the names of the cocktails and the origin of the bottles. The kitchen serves finger food.
4) Bulk
Bulk is the name of the squat house that stood here before they built the Viu hotel. Its cocktail bar has earned a solid reputation since its opening thanks to the menu by Ivan Patruno who works his magic with the customers from behind the counter. Try the spectacular ‘Negroni del Professore’.
5) Radetzky
Although many choose spritz, there is an excellent cocktail list to accompany the classic olives, crisps and tiny pizzas, and the slightly gruff service. But then you can’t help but pop in here, even if it’s almost impossible to find a place at the outdoor tables. Stand with the rest of the patrons, Milan-style.
