1) EYE

Amsterdam isn’t generally known for its bold modern architecture, but the new film museum on the northern shore of the River IJ changed that in 2012. The design by Delugan Meissl Architects is a striking white angular landmark and is meant to depict a transition from reality into cinematographic fiction. Enjoy the sweeping views from the terrace, and watch a movie or visit an exhibition inside.
