3) Binnenrotte Centrummarkt
Between 400 and 500 stalls are set up every Tuesday and Saturday at Binnen-rotte from 8 am to 5.30 pm, next to Blaak station and Markthal, making it one of the largest outdoor markets in the country. A wealth of fresh vegetables and fruits, meat and fish, nuts, tasty snacks and whatever else you can think of is for sale here.
4) Organic Market
Every Tuesday from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm there’s a small biologische markt (organic market) at Eendrachtsplein. On offer are breads and pastries, dairy and cheese, vegetables and fruit, and meat. The organic produce is made with respect for nature, without pesticides and fertilisers.
5) Kaapse Markt
On Fridays from 10 am till 5 pm, Deliplein hosts a lively market. The municipality started this initiative in 2022 because the inhabitants of Katendrecht wanted their own food market, with wares from local producers and with more atmosphere and less waste.
