1) Metro

Barcelona has an excellent metro: fast, reliable and cheap. Buy a T-10, a ticket that will get you on the metro ten times for 10,20 euro. On weekdays the metro closes at midnight. On Fridays it closes at 2 am, Saturday night it just keeps going.
