5 restaurants with a breathtaking view in Barcelona
1) Martinez
Quite a good seafood restaurant, although you really come here for the view: it’s high up on Montjuïc and overlooks a large part of the city. The ideal place for a romantic evening.
2) Restaurant of the Club Natació Atlantic-Barceloneta
Overlooking the beach without being overpriced, the restaurant on the ground floor of this gym serves a great lunch, with an emphasis on fish. Recently a new restaurant opened right next to it: Beach Garden. It’s even closer to the sea, but lacks the down-to-earth Barcelona feel of the Club’s restaurant.

3) B-Lounge Restaurant
This pretty swanky restaurant is part of the Barceló Raval Hotel and boasts a 360-degree terrace. The food is fine, decently priced and you get a wonderful view of one of Barcelona’s busiest, most colourful neighbourhoods.
4) Torre d'Alta Mar
The tower where you can get a cable car up to Montjuïc also houses a restaurant with a spectacular view of the city, its seaside, and Montjuïc. The restaurant, headed by chef Albert Dolcet, serves a highly refined local cuisine. If you’re spending New Year’s Eve in Barcelona, this is the place to be.
5) Blue Spot Barcelona
Blue Spot occupies the entire 8th floor of a high-rise, with a 360-degree view of the Mediterranean and the city. The incredibly rich dishes (especially the seafood!) aren’t excessively expensive, given the restaurant’s location and the quality of the ingredients. The restaurant comes with a very stylish terrace; at night, it turns into a cocktail bar.
