Restaurants don’t get much more impressive than The Wolseley, a European-style grand cafe which resides in a former 1920s car showroom. The eatery serves elegant food all day long, from Scottish steaks to French stews and German desserts. But it’s the building – marble pillars, sweeping archways and the geometric floor preserved from the space’s 1920s heydey – that makes a meal here truly special.
