1) Seattle Public Library: Central Library
The City of Seattle’s Central Library is a testament to both the simplicity and beauty of glass and steel. It opened in 2004 and was designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas in a joint venture with Seattle-based LMN Architects. While the interior can feel a little maze-like sometimes, the reading spaces and gathering spaces are large and airy.
